Day Two (Sunday 10/29/2023)
Our Sabbath Day of Rest.
We joined this morning for breakfast, again it was a blessing of nourishment and fellowship in the goodness of the Lord. Our devotional today was from Exodus 2:23-25 and encouraged us in that God knows our need and when we cry out to Him in faith He will hear and meet us there. We were encouraged to take the day to rest in Him and I believe we have done just that. He has provided us a wonderful place to stay here that offers a serene environment to enjoy His creation. Although our group split up to take part in various activities: some stayed behind to enjoy and restful afternoon while others went on a boat ride at the canal or hiked to a waterfall. Everyone enjoyed a wonderful lunch by the waterside. Church is in the evenings here so we enjoyed worship and a message at the little community church above Blossom Creek on the mountain at 6pm. Afterwards we came back to the Training Center to enjoy dinner and fellowship. It has been a blessed Lord’s day.
